In January of 2019 the city and county fire agencies, reviewed the level readiness for wild fire disasters and created a Master Conflagration Plan or MCP. After seeing the devastating toll of The Camp and Woolsey fires a 3rd phase is to commence.

Prior to the MCP, the department's wild land task force consisted of:
Engine 27 1996 Pierce Arrow Snozzle. This unit is equipped with a 1750 GPM Waterous pump, 500 gallons of water and has a 55' articulating boom.
Engine 37 is a 2009 Pierce Quantum PUC Pumper. Equipped with a Darley/PUC 1500 GPM pump, and 2000 gallons of water, and 50 gallons of Class A foam.
Engine 307 is a 2017 International Workstar 7400 TYPE III equipped with a Waterous 1250 GPM pump, and 500 gallons of water.
2x Freightliner M2 as Hytrans mobile water supply pump system.
